J: Do you want to go see the Buddha?
T: Um, no, I want to meet the Buddha on the road.
J: [laughs] No, really, do you want to see the Buddha?
T: Where is the Buddha?
J: The Buddha is right in front of us.
And then T was enlightened, at least about the Buddha’s location. As it turned out J was right, and the Buddha was to be found straight ahead of us (photos not permitted).
But I have a long path to travel, and in general am not ready.
